Bio
The ability to capture a moment, freeze it in time, and preserve it for generations and generations has always been a fascinating concept. It is through the embodiment of this idea that drew Maria to photography. Maria has been involved in the photography business for over twenty years and throughout this time has acquired a degree in the fine arts, focusing her studies on photography and graphic design.
Throughout her years of work she has gained experience in a broad range of photography from studio to location settings. She now shoots exclusively on location however, as it provides a more natural and relaxed environment for her clients.
Maria has also done volunteer work as a photographer for the Diabetes Foundation of Rhode Island's Camp Surefire for children and still currently volunteers as a photographer for the Rhode Island SPCA. In 2007 and 2008 Maria was voted in The Animal Print magazine as one of the top local pet photographers in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
