Maria Giannini, a Rhode Island Photographer, first began her career over 20 years ago. Since then Maria has obtained a degree in fine arts focusing on photography and graphic design. While she has experience in both the studio and on location settings across the span of her career, she now exclusively photographs on location creating a more natural and relaxed environment for her clients. Maria has focused on various aspects of photography including child, family, senior, and pet portriature, landscapes, weddings, and other special events such as those hosted by the Diabetes Foundation of Rhode Island. As a mother of three, Maria has developed the patience and understanding necessary to capture the unique personalities of children and the special moments in their lives. Although she enjoys all the various aspects of photography, her true passion is animal photography. Throughout her life Maria has trained and competed with dogs in AKC obedience competitions. One of her German Shepherds has earned obedience titles and is a retired, certified therapy dog that visited patients at Rhode Island Hospital for several years. This experience, along with volunteering at the RISPCA photographing animals in need of homes enables her to understand animal behavior and allows her to fully capture natural images of the treasured family pet. Regardless of the occasion, Maria's goal is to please her clients by creating beautiful images for lasting memories
